V1
Wind whistles and the trees creak
as the shadows begin to come.
They come to the wolf village of Lark.
The darkness if no friend of yours, but foe.
The wolves are scared and weary.
Begin to leave with the shadows,
fight the darkness and keep your past a secret,
for that alone may turn the wolves against you.
Will you fight with the Light,
the Dark,
or will you choose nether?
V2
After the death of his beloved mate, Spirit, the One, struggles to find himself. His lies are becoming more often, and he is losing strength. The death of Silver is too hard for him, he is failing his role as the One.
The Chosen, Cherrok Akita, is in triumph. He killed Silver and now Spirit is failing. That is what he wanted. Soon, though, he most choose over his love for the new wolf in the Light, Mist, and his alliance to the dark.
Mist, a loner wolf, found her way to the light and was accepted without thought. What no one knows is that she is not quite real. Her eyes are the color of the setting sun and her fur whiter then snow. The Chosen has fallen for her, she knows this, and perhaps she is the only one who can right the golden furred wolf's mind. But to what costs?
Since their mother's death, Fiona and her brother Quest have become stronger. They are both full grown and in need of revenge. But they will not go into battle without a plan, but Spirit seems to have other plans.
Ray is struggling. The Shadows whisper to him, pulling him to them, he tries to deny their pull, but is he strong enough.
The Shadows aren't the only thing threatening Lark in this dark time. A group of red-eyed wolves have come and they are more powerful then the Chosen and the One combined. There is only one way for the wolves of Lark to survive. They must unite with the Shadows and banish the Red-Eyes from Lark if they want to stay together. But how can the evil of the dark Shadows and the kindness of the Light unite together, after all that has happened?
V3
Every Story has an end.
When we left the wolves of Lark they had been recovering from the attack on the red-eyes. Spear Darklight and Raise Sunbeam were killed, Cherook Akita and Ranger Lightfinder had been severely injured. Early on in the second part of the wolves of Lark's story Arck Willowstep had been killed by his own packmate, Whisper Willowson. Zap and Ranger from the red-eyes joined the Light wolves after the battle was over.
But that was when we last heard from the wolves, this is now. Three years have passed since that battle. Spirit blames himself for the death of Spear Darklight. Cherook Akita's sigh is failing him. He can not focus. His mate, Mist, falls severely ill and with no wolf experienced in healing the wolves do not know what to do.
Coal Redblaze and the other red-eyes that were not killed in the battle, have began to regroup. Coal and his mate Prsim, are expecting puppies soon, the whole group of red-eyes are (most likely) secretly pleased and happy for their leaders, but they dare not show it. Even Coal is kind when he is around Prisim, and will be that same way around the pups.
The Alliance has it's faults. When called it only reaches the dark souls in that wolf village, in this case, Lark. But when Spirit Moonbeam called the Alliance there were only a few Shadows left in the village of Lark. Now they are coming back. They are much larger in numbers then they have ever been. This is the time that will be known all over the world as the Great Battle of Lark. But this time neighboring wolf villages may have to help with the fight. Lark can't do it on it's own.
